National Account Manager

Chula Vista, California

We are currently seeking to fill a full-time National Account Manager position at our corporate office in Chula Vista, CA. The primary responsibilities of NAM creatively meets and exceeds dealer support by objectively developing new and existing clients while providing exceptional service by performing the following duties but not limited to:


Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an excellent business relationship with company clients.
  • Service new and existing accounts with a routine schedule.
  • Providing product knowledge and support.
  • Create new and innovative ways to increase sales and products carried by customers.
  • Attend team meetings and maintain pipeline.
  • Increase knowledge of company product lines and new products within the industry.
  • Call partners and log each conversation with detailed notes about the call.
  • Constant coaching and development to our partners about current company offerings and insure that our products and/or services get to the end user.
  • Manage to consistently meet or exceed company expectations and company metrics.
  • Required to be available during business hours to support all of our partners needs and if our partner contacts you for support you must return their call/email as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours.
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific partners (gas stations, liquor stores, pc repair, wireless retail, etc.).
  • Work hand in hand with the outside sales team to assist in sales and support with the partners assigned to you.
  • Communicate directly with Team Leader with any issues or opportunities that require immediate attention.
  • Always working on developing your time management and sales skills while also reaching out to your team leader with anything you feel is a weakness of yours.
  • Putting in new orders for our partners in a timely manner.
  • Striving to exceed our partner’s expectations by delivering the best dealer experience. Always under promising and over delivering on your approach.
  • Promote all products and services to our partners in a positive manor and always be professional when comparing our products and services to our direct to our direct competitors.
  • Be personal with the partners assigned to you…we are looking for valued relationships and want to know that our partners like you! People buy from people they like
  • Identify low producing partners and work diligently to coach and train on how to increase sales to create a phenomenal partner experience.
  • Position Requirements:
    • Ability to train new clients on equipment issues.
    • Ability to train new clients on equipment issues.
    • Read, Write, and Speak Spanish (preferred) and English
    • 1 - 2 Yrs. of Customer Service experience. Call center experience is a PLUS!
    • Team player is a must.
    • Must be a detail listener with strong organizational and time management skills.
    Education & Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED Required
    • Bachelor's Degree- Preferred
    Compensation:
    • 10/hr. - $14/hr + commission
